Aria Going to the Opera?

Alberta Vocal Arts is seeking singers for the 2025–26 season of Aria Going to the Opera? – our popular edu-concert series that brings opera to audiences of all ages at the National Music Centre!
 

This year’s themes & dates:

  • September 20 – Opera 101: All About the Basics

  • October 11 – The Villains

  • November 15 – The Duets: Rivalry, Romance & Revelry

  • January 31 – Opera’s Timeless Tales: Myths, Legends & Fairytales

  • February 21 – Love: Opera Style
     

We welcome all voice types, including equity and non-equity singers, represented or non-represented.
 

Join us in sharing the magic of opera, inspiring new audiences, and performing in a fun, approachable format alongside Artistic/Executive Director Kathleen Morrison.

Cavalleria Rusticana

Alberta Vocal Arts is seeking talented singers to join our fully staged 2026 production of Mascagni’s Cavalleria Rusticana at the Mandami Opera Centre!

We are casting the lead roles:

Open to Equity & non-Equity singers, whether represented or not who are Canada based. This is an incredible opportunity to perform in a fully staged production with a small chamber orchestra.
